Ayurvedic approach to treating Amla pitta is by correcting the vitiated doshas and there by the Agni by various internal medications like guduchyadi kasayam, drakshadi kasayam, dadimadi gritham,indukantham kasayam, yasti churnam and vilwadi legyam amongst many others. Ayurveda also emphasizes on strict dietary regimen to combat gastritis which includes avoiding spicy and sour food, and irregular food timings. Fruits like pomegranates, buttermilk, and ghee are recommended in the daily dietey regimen. A stess free lifestyle along with good dietary habits with the support of medications will help recovery from gastritis.
